LEVEL 3 CERTIFICATE IN ASSESSING VOCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT (FORMALLY A1) TRAINING
This Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is a fully OFQUAL regulated certificate.
The full course can be done online, in your own time at a time that suits you,
Being a qualified assessor will open many doors ahead of you and will enable you to choose your own career path. You may work full time or part time as a freelance assessor. There are many opportunities for assessors and for those involved in the training, skills and development industry.
Once you have completed this course you will be able to,
- You will be able to competently plan assessments
- Carry out assessment of competence
- Provide feedback
- Make assessment decisions
- Follow standardisation procedures
- Contribute to internal quality assurance
This course is generic and not specific to any one industry, this means you'll need to apply everything you've learnt to your own specific field.
The three mandatory units are,
- Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
- Assess Occupational Competence in the Work Environment
- Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding
Please note that for this course you will need two learners that you can assess as well as a mentor to assess you assessing. (Please note - we may be able to assist to find suitable students and mentor, additional charges may apply)
At the end of each learning outcome for these units, you will have a set of questions to answer. This is how you will be assessed. In your answers, you should demonstrate that you have a good understanding of the unit. All work is digitally uploaded to our secure online learning platform and assessed by a qualified tutor. Work is then independently reviewed by an specialist IQA.
